Now starts the next best thing other than a Disney trip - making home movies from your pics and videos! I am looking for suggestions for great songs to use in our Disney home movies. In years past I have used all of the Disney standards and classics that one would normally use like "When You Wish Upon A Star", "Be Our Guest" etc. I'm looking for something different this time around. Most of our footage was filmed at MK with some at EP, HS, MVMCP and the Contemporary Resort. Any ideas?

I like "fly to your heart" from the first tinkerbell movie. Try that one.

What is the song used in the Disney Must-Do's shown at the resorts at WDW (you know, the Stacy song!)

Life is a Highway
Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride
Tiki Room]
True to Your Heart (Reggae version)
Under the Sea (steel drum version)
A whole new world

:thumbsup2

Many years ago for Kodak commercials the song used was ' Time of Our Lives ' sung by Paul Anka we did the same thing with our family photos begiinnig with our teenaged years.dating, wedding, up through the grandbabies Practically every vacation was at WDW

that collection is my most prized posession and the song captures so much of the emotions

This may not fit exactly, but I loved the True Colors song that Kodak had in the opening of Honey I shrunk the audience. It is a feel good song that brings lots of memories.

Obviously, Disney songs. But, if you're looking for non-Disney songs then I think 'Its Magic' ... you know that one *clears throat and sings* oh, oh, oh it's magic (thank you, I'm here all week :p)

It was originally sang by Pilot but Selena Gomez does a great version.

We bought the Now That's What I Call Disney CD's and used a bunch of them. A whole new world worked well

Well done....but Selena Gomez will never sully my fine editing work:lmao:

Have you used Remember When by LeAnn Rimes. It's on the Happiest Celebration cd. Great music about memories of Disney.

At the Osborne Lights there was a really fast version of Jingle Bells sung by a female. Any ideas on who it was?

If you have daughters, "something special" by eric clapton is a good one.

I think it's fun to use music that isn't necessarily associated with Disney. Ironically, the fun and excitement of a Disney trip doesn't always jive with some of the most common Disney music:) Just my two cents. We enjoy watching videos, so please post yours when you're done. Look forward to watching!

Good Life by OneRepublic or is it a bit cliche as a Disney song now?
