Looking for a good spot for dinner to take my g/f for her birthday that's near Disneyland. Looking to spend around $20 or so per plate. Any recommendations?

Need a little more info before I can suggest anything.... Will you have a car or will it need to be in walking distance? What kind of food are you looking for?

Yes we will have a car. Either American or Mexican food.

And not interested in any of the Downtown Disney Restaurants??

I'm not sure how fancy of a restaurant you're looking for.
But we went to Mimi's (right in front of Fairfield Inn Hotel) and it was great.
The price and the food were excellent.
Nothing fancy mind you.

We loved Mimi's, some dont but we will be back in Oct.
http://www.mimiscafe.com/ you can look at menu and prices online.

My fav
Grilled Beef Liver
With grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms or crisp bacon, or try all three. Served with fresh vegetables & choice of potato $10.79

This included soup also, dont know if it still is included.

We go to Mimi's here in Vegas all the time, very good food. Looking for something a little different and a little bit more pricey.

Tony Romas a bit further down on Harbor......

I tend to stick to the simple places - Mimi's, Millies and Tony Romas...
but also love Rainforest in DTD.

Tortilla Jo's looked a little interesting as well as HOB.

I think either one of those are a great choice, Tortilla Jo's is awesome. I really enjoyed the food there, the atmoshpere is very laid back, and fun. I enjoy eating on the patio at night, it's very romantic. HOB has very good food.

hope that helps!! Good luck!

:thumbsup2

Is there still a Claim Jumper in Anaheim? It was several miles from DLR, but huge portions and a lot of fun....

We love the chicken dinners at Knottsberry Farms. And the boysenberry juice is to die for.

Ended up making reservations through OpenTable.com for Tortilla Jo's at 7pm and requested a table on the patio.

I second Tony Roma's. Good ribs! But you won't go wrong at Tortilla Jo's
