Good restaurant before mnsshp??

Hi everyone-

We've been going every September for the past few years and always face the issue of where to eat before the MNSSHP. We really are not fans of any restaurants in the MK, and have had pretty much everything in Epcot. Is there a great resort restaurant on the monorail route to the MK that is also on the dining plan? Thanks for your suggestions!

TS or CS? The Polynesisan has 'Ohana and Kona, the Contemporary has Chef Mickey's & California Grill, the Grand Floridian has 1900 Park Fare & Grand Floridian Cafe. I'm sure there are others I'm just not thinking of right now.

We've done 'Ohana, 1900 Park Fare, & Chef Mickeys. 1900 PF and Chef Mickey's are both character buffets, & that may not be what you're looking for, but they're both pretty good & fun for kids. I would recommend 'Ohana, we've always had fantastic experiences there! We love it & go every trip. It's served family style and the food is AWESOME.

Try the Wave at the Contemporary. Also, have you ever tried the Plaza at MK... it's often overlooked and it is the only resturant we care for in MK.

Although not in a monorail resort, the WCC would be fun! Start off your night with one of the most fun restaurants in the World. It's at the WL so it's only a short boat ride away from MK.
