I am looking for a standard or full size SUV for two weeks from 15 July to 29 July.

Best prices I can find are all in £400-range: I'm sure I've paid nearer £300 in the past.

Anyone have any tips on websites to try or any voucher codes to use? I'd be very grateful!!

Thanks

I think you will struggle for full size, £300 is about the going rate for 2 weeks intermediate SUV, infact £400 seams reasonable, who is that with? Just did a quick search for your dates, prices were around:
Intermediate £300+
Standard £400+
Full Size £600+

I love having a full size SUV but can only ever afford them if on really good offer or a price glitch.

Thanks v. much Wayne. I'm getting a quote of about £380 with eBookers (using 10% code) for a "Standard" SUV from Dollar (example car is Jeep Grand Cherokee). Do you think that's my best bet?

If you book through Quidco, you should be able to get 6% cashback on that too

Have you tried www.usrentacar.co.uk ?

They are coming up cheapest for our dates in October. Even ebookers, with the 10% off is a couple of quid more expensive.

Upto 2-3 years ago I used USrentacar a lot but last few years I can't find good prices with them. Our next trip, 16 days in July they want £361.13 for an intermediate SUV, that's about £100 more than others.
They are so expensive I have stopped checking their prices unless someone mentions them.

Well, I just got £338 for a 7-seater for 2 weeks with them in October. I've not seen anything better yet (although I know it's early days).

Not a bad price, its not way OTT like my quotes.
Cheapest I see for 2 week in Oct is £321 less 8% via http://www.quidco.com/carrentals-co-uk/
I will check our Sept trip with them sometime see how they compare for that.

I don't see anywhere to enter a code on eBookers site. If I could get 10% off it might just get me to book.

I got an Email from them. Says selected suppliers only and prices include 10% discount.

Don't know where the OP got a code from :confused3
