After seeing all of our friends and family come home tan and refreshed from their spring breaks this year, my husband and I have decided that we want to do a spring trip next year (probably May), with our twin daughters (will be 27 months at that time). We're trying to think of places that would be good for toddlers - beach, kid-friendly pool, rooms with a "suite" layout. Also, we may bring a sitter with us, unless the resort has some reliable babysitting services available.

Has anyone had much luck traveling with their children at this age and finding a place the children will enjoy as much as the parents?

Thanks in advance!

We took our first family trip when ds was 15 months old and we went to Mexico. I wonder why we waited so long. When ds was 22 month old we went to Jamaicia and loved it. We stayed at the starfish Trewlawny very family friendly with a great kids/babys club. Ds will be 2&1/2 in Sept when we go to WDW. Try it and go with the flow. I can tell you one thing it is a whole new world traveling with a toddler than just DH. Good luck and enjoy

We have taken 2 trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos with the kids. First time DS was 28 months, second time DS was 6 and DD 15 months.

We loved the place as well as the children. The place is very family friendly and the staff caters to the children. I realize this place can be pricey but the kids clubs are very good also. DS would have went everyday if we let him.

When checking out resorts, make sure the kids clubs take children under 3 because alot of them are 3-12, or 4-12. Beaches takes babies, without any extra charge . Any info , you can PM me.

Thanks so much for your responses! I think I'll do some looking into the Beaches resorts - I like the idea of having organized kids programs for little ones - it does seem a little hard to find resorts that offer this.

Thanks again!
