Good pins vs scrappers

just a small album I did for a friend so he could see the differences between a few of the scrappers I have and the good pins. Just thought I'd share.

Hmmm I don't know why, it works fine for me, on my computer and my phone.....

It worked fine for me and I don't have a facebook account. I noticed, how the backs of the candy corn and snowflake scrapper pins appears shinier and dimpled versus the legit ones. That is good to know. The border pins are easy to figure out, but without that pattern it is difficult to differentiate between legit and scrapper.

Yes, I noticed that as well, the main "tell" on the snowflake tho is the 2 small nubs next to the pin post, those are missing on the scrapper....those scrapper makers, they are pretty sneaky...

Just bought 20 pins on Ebay and most, I believe, are scrappers. Didn't even know such as thing existed. Just started to think about how they could sell 20 pins for 20 dollars and looked it up on the internet. This post was so informative - thanks a bunch!

Thanks so much for those comparison pictures.

This may sound blasphemous but sometimes I like the more vibrant the colors are on the scrappers. Sorry, I just had to make that observation. I do not condone scrappers at all but I have been fooled more than once because I thought the lighter color pin was a scrapper when it was actually real.
