Hey everyone, I'm a petroleum engineer from Canada and I'm looking to switch careers. I don't really care where I work; I just want to find something that I enjoy.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent website that posts engineering positions, preferably petroleum engineering positions?

Thanks!

hmm I'm not sure I have any words of wisdom except that most people I know (professional degrees) use recruiters when they are ready for a career change/move. I think one friend used monster.com and got a decent job but it wasn't as good of a job as he could have gotten had he used a recruiting firm here in town.

I would highly recommend joining a professional society. Becoming an active member will allow you to network and know of new positions available in many areas.

Many of these groups often have a newsletter/journals as well that will often advertise for positions.

You might also consider just looking at companies you would like to work for that are in the field. Check out their websites!

Good luck!
