We were planning on picking our boys up at school on Nov. 7, driving all night (from Ohio) and just checking into the Polynesian on the morning of the 8th. We have done this before, but now work is stressing my DH out so he has been considering leaving the morning of the 7th and getting an offsite hotel for one night. (we have done this before too)
It would mean taking the boys out of school for one more day (6-7), but since they are good students (6th grade and 1st grade) and only plan a trip every few years we have had no problems.
So now I:rolleyes: need an affordable hotel, free breakfast would be great - any suggestions?

I think you might benefit by checking out www.floridakiss.com. This is the official Kissimmee/St. Cloud Convention and Visitor's Center website. Kissimmee is actually closer to WDW than Orlando. They have lists of the local hotels/motels and they used to have coupons on their website too.

Hope you find what you're looking for! Lisa

Check out the WSW Hilton -- walking distance from DT Disney; a perfect location. They do Priceline. You're time of the year, should be able to grab it for about $99 a night. Plus you've got bus transport if you need it.

Also, any of the Country Inn & Suites nearby are good and incl. breakfast.

The Doubletree just outside of DDT (the one across from Uno's with the pineapple on the front) is great. Nice sized rooms, good service, very close, and you get a very yummy chocolate chip cookie when you check in. :yay:

I'm looking at the all-suite hotels right now. I've pretty much settled on Buena Vista Suites. They have a FREE full buffet breakfast. I'm able to get a 1-bedroom suite for $118 per night. BUT, since you aren't going until Nov. you may be able to take advantage of MouseSaver.com's special offer of $99 per night! Check it out. Good luck!
