Just be content and not lean on your own understanding whatever happens.

ultimate irony: after being a SAHM for 11 years and NEVER being summoned, now that i'm actively looking for a job, i've been called to jury duty-i report to the county courthouse monday at 9:00am....

no, not a word trying to stay positive. DH says when he was on jury duty, self-employed people were excused, so i'm going to give it a try on monday. all i have is my cr*ppy ChaCha job, but, cr*ppy or not, i really need to work.

on top of all that, DH's thanksgiving week vacation was screwed up and he was given this coming week instead, so now we have to cancel our thanksgiving week plans, since there's no one in the front office until monday to fix the screw up, and that will be too late. i tell ya, i'm about ready to go crawl into bed and stay there until new years!

thanks i really need those hugs today. yes, hopefully, DH will be home thanksgiving day. he's been working 60-70 hours per week for the past 2 months. i don't know how many others passed the typing test for the job-there were 48 applications, 16 (including me) were tested. i'm sorry your DBF will miss most of thanksgiving day, but hey, at least our men are hard workers, right?

I'm still holding out hope for good news for you!! I know how very hard it is to wait and wait and wait....that phone call seems to take forever when you are wanting it so badly. Keep reminding yourself of your strengths, and I hope you hear some good news ASAP!!

Awwww honey... I'm so sorry.

I was unemployed for 3 years as a single parent. Lord knows it was hard. I had TWO real good chances for jobs I REALLY wanted... and didn't get either of them.

The amazing thing was one of them was given to a friend who HATED the job and the other job disbanded and fired everyone 2 years later.

Sometimes it's just not meant to be.

The right one is coming. This just wasn't it. Hang in there.

thank you both i really am bummed about it, but i had a feeling i wasn't going to get the job, so it didn't come as a shock. i am glad i tried for it though, because at least i have that first "jumping back into the job market" interview out of the way.
