Woot!
Twenty months ago I weighed in the morbidly obese range. My triglycerides were a critical 483(normal is <150). My blood sugar was about 180(should be < 120). And my HDL(good cholestral) was 23(should be >50). Today I am merely overweight(30-lbs to go, but hey!
) My triglycerides are a healthy 78, the HDL is 45(almost normal), and my blood sugar is under control.
I'm pretty stoked. I've got a ways to go, but I am so much healthier than I was. And I can easily buy things off the rack. In fact, I've given away all my fat clothes so there's no going back. Except one pair of gigantic drawers. I keep them hanging in my closet to remind myself where I've been.
