Good news on May crowds

Larklynn - We'll be there the first week of May. Although we now live in Findlay, I grew up just outside Toledo, go I guess that counts as Mich/Ohio border.

Well I just booked yesterday for last minute trip April 29th to May 5th. We got the Poly and Concierge with an AP rate. However all the DVC units are booked solid and WL and Grand Floridian did not have any openings. All the other resorts I were told were wide open for that length of stay.

Lifetime Downers Grove, Illinois resident, just recently moved to Park Ridge. We'll be there May 19th - May 26th at CR Tower. We're flying out of O'Hare on Spirit Air, couldn't justify going Southwest out of Midway when we live 5 minutes from O'Hare (thankfully not under a landing pattern), anyway, Spirit had good deals too, $64.00 one way I think.

We just (today) booked a last minute trip for 4/29-5/3. (Doncha love being spontaneous? ) All resorts at value and mod levels were open. A little bird told me the revised UG numbers are some where ariound a 5 for those days.

Hey I'm a fellow Illinoian although am living in Florida now. I'm a West Central Illinois gal. Perry, Illinois to be exact. Bet no one has heard of that little burg.

I'll be visiting WDW May 2nd & 3rd with friends from Dallas, Tx. Staying at the POP Century.

Even though I live just down the road from WDW I still get excited about going!!!!!!

I am a Wisconsinite that will be driving thru IL starting in the early hours of Friday April 29. Little nervous about the long drive, but DH wants nothing to do with flying since we adopted our kids in 2001 from Kazakhstan. Little too long of a flight from him. Normally when we drive to Atlanta we go down I-65 thru IN, this is our first time on I-57 thru IL. I cannot wait to get there. I really hope that the crowds are not too bad.

We will be there April 29th to May 3rd and then over to VB until May 6th (I think we will do a WDW park on May 6th before we fly out since we have an AP!)
