Good News for those who love Capt. Hirmans when going home to Vero Beach, according to Capt. Hirmans website they will be opened again very soon !




Planned Re-Opening
Capt. Hiram's is planning to re-open for business on Thursday, September 9, 2004, subject to change. Our hopes and prayers go out for a speedy recovery, to all who have been affected by both Hurricanes Frances and Charley.

I received a pop-up when I clicked on the link. The pop-up indicated opening Wednesday. Regardless of when they reopen, I am very glad to hear they are reopening and soon. We ate there twice when we were at Vero and really enjoyed it.

Well, this may not be a clear indication of current status. I don't know when this website was updated, and given my understanding that the area doesn't have power, this may not be an indication that everything is OK. This could have been programmed before the storm hit. Hope the place is OK.

But FYI I checked the web site during Frances and there wasn't a pop up, so apparently this was added after? We can hope!!!

if you have a firewall, your firewall maybe blocking the pop-up.

at the time that i looked my firewall was disable and i didnt notice until i started getting pop-ups and i turn my firewall back on, then i went back to the captain hirams site and i did not get the pop up.
