This year has been the worst year for my family. We've had major illnesses, attempted suicides, a proposal (which should have been an amazing time but was overshadowed by the fact my soon - to - be inlaws are hardly speaking to us because of it), my dad had a major heart attack and I can't find a job!
On Tuesday, my dad got a call telling him he needs to be in hospital on Wednesday and he's getting a pacemaker. He had the op yesterday and his heart stopped on the operating table.
He is ok, just a bit sore. Fingers crossed that he is fully mended now!
Today I got a phone call from my manager at my job (Part Time). I've been accepted to go Full Time! There's normally a year waiting list, and they rejected the application 3 weeks ago, but have re-looked over it and I start Full Time in January! It's still not the career I've got a degree in, but I figure if I'm going to be there anyways I might as well be getting £1000 more per month!
So here's to a brilliant new year for all of us and have a great Christmas.
