Hey all!! New to the forum and stumbled across it cause I am so lost and tired of searching. Can any avid Disney goers help me?

Two years ago we went to Disneyland and there was a bus that ran every fifteen minutes and hit all the hotels in the area and drove to and from the parks. Does Orlando have this? If so, do you have a hotel with the stuff below:

-prefer good neighbor and/or Hilton (have points)

-pet friendly for two basset hounds

-rooms that hold 5 and have rooms (thinking that is called a suite)

-interior access to the rooms (cause the dogs I guess)

-really hoping to find one with a bunk bed

My brother-in-law is joining my household of 5 (one baby) so we want to be able to close off the door to the bedroom to keep dogs off our bed. He would like access to the room without having to go through halls.

I am so lost with looking and the wdwgoodneighbor site just is not reliable with its filters since they don't look like they are redidibly being updated.

Thank you all!!

Yes head over to Orlando sub-forum and ask ...

Good Neighbor Hotels are nothing more than hotels signed off on by Disney to have basic standards like AAA, sell tickets, etc. There really is no need to limit yourself to these hotels as they get no perks.

The dogs will be your complication especially since you want a bedroom suite.

Something to consider is the Disney Ft Wilderness Cabins. They have some dog friendly ones. A bedroom with a queen and bunk beds, sofabed in living room, both bedroom and living room have access direct outdoors. Bathroom is not contained in bedroom so no cutting through at night.

There are transportation options at some hotels but nothing like the ART system at Disneyland. Disney Springs hotels would be your best bet for transportation benefits if not staying at a Disney property. I’m not sure what suite/dog options are available.

Good Neighbor hotel is worthless, but the Disney Springs Hotels do have buses that run every 30 minutes (during Normal time) and Xtra Magic Hours (during normal times). But you have to pay a $20 resort fee. Double Tree Disney Springs have some suites that fit 5.

Thank you everyone. We ended up settling on Embassy Suites. It did have two queens and a sofa bed suite but it was pretty nice and was dog friendly. Had some points on a cc which helped but even without the points, it was cheaper than a disney hotel so we went with that.

Thank you all for your help.

Which Embassy Suites?

IDrive, Convetion Center or Lake Buena Vista?

If that hotel has a shuttle, it is likely a shared shuttle with limited travel times to the Disney complex and likely will not drop at all four parks (likely either Epcot or the TCC).

Also be sure you understand the hotel’s pet policy, especially leaving pets in a room unattended.

Safe travels!

I stay there alot. Great hotel for the price.

However, I don't think there shuttle is running right now due to the pandemic. Things may have changed but it wasn't a month ago.

There evening reception came back a month ago (free drinks and alcohol although the snacks weren't back when I was there)

Free Breakfast is awesome, especially on the days they have bacon.

If you are on the lower floor facing I drive, then the Senor Frogs restaurant/night club can be noisy pretty late.

The side facing the highway has highway noise. So people don't prefer that side although I actually found the noise of cars on the highway sooting.

I use the LYNX bus to Disney/Universal/Sea World.
day pass is $4.50.
Week pass unlimited rides is $16.

You take Lynx 8 down to Sea World then transfer to the LYNX 50 that takes you to Disney Springs/Disney TTC.

Thanks! Pet policy is new and very simple, which is nice. Max 65lbs and $75 for the stay, no dog limit. However, my brother-in-law may not end up taking them since we will be in the park so long.
