Hi everyone, hope you are all well today!
Just wondered if anyone knows what this is, is it a character brekkie, or parade, or a meet n greet??
I saw it mentioned on dlrpmagic but the link is down at the mo and i'm intrigued...
Any replies much appreciated!
TIA:hippie:

I think Good Morning Walt Disney Studios is the morning parade at the Studios where characters arrive in cars and then get off them and meet and greet people.
But will tell you more after september LOL

Yes, it's a parade - but I'm not sure if they are doing it anymore :confused3

You are right, on DLP official site it doesnt list it anymore.
Has it been substituted with Disney Cinema Parade (1.30PM every day) maybe?

Oh rite, ok, thanks for the replies.x

It starts again on June 2nd, and is a mini-parade in which Disney Characters and the CineFollies arrive on the park in Cadilacs and other special vehicles, before they stop and meet and greet guests near the Production Courtyard Stage (outside Cinemagique).

And from June 9th, the brand new "Toon Studios Train" will carry characters and musicians through toon studios.

And Disney's Cinema Parade, is the main parade which has been running everyday for 5 years. This is not effected by any other parades.

Thanks Tom :) Just out of interest, did DLP ever do a Good Morning Main Street parade, like the one at WDW?

Is this not the thing 'show' when they let you out of studio 1? When I last went they only open studio 1 for the first hour. As they open the door (to let you out) they play some music and there's a voice over welcoming you to the world of movies. As the doors open there's a few charecters waiting and all the cast members wave and welcome you into the park. The whole thing lasts about 10 minutes and whilst it's quite nice to feel welcomed, I'd rather not have had to wait the hour to get out of studio 1.

No Problem, I like to help! :cool1: :goodvibes

No its not, this is just the opening of the park for the day. They couldn't let you into the main park any earlier as the park doesn't open until 10am anyway. Studio 1 is open as an overflow area otherwise the turnstyles would be jammed - they do this with Main Street too .

And Hi Bex, In the first few years they did a "Good Morning Main Street" this was a couple of Main Street cars with the characters in and the Main Street Band. This stopped in 1995 I think. After that there was lots of Mini-Parades at noon - like the Toy Story Parade, Pochahontas Parade, Lion King Parade, Aladdin Parade, Hercules Happening, Disney's California Dreamin. These consisted of just a couple of mini-floats and a big float and were an extra to the day's main parade.
This was in the days before the Studios and now the Parade cast are used for the Disney's Cinema Parade instead.

Here are some photos of the Good Morning Studios parade in my trip report from August 2005. :)

Thanks for the informations so many new things for me to look forward to
Just wish it was not so expensive to go there, would go twice a year then :sad2:

Thanks for the great info, invaluable as always.
So is it at 10 when the wds park opens? or later, i would love to see it since it seems as if the wdsp tends to be quieter, should we take advantage of this for meet n greets?
