These "Good morning" threads have gotten quite hilarious as the day as gone on. "Celebrities" have been popping up all over the place (lots of activity on the Cruise and Community boards). It's obviously some sort of hoax but there must be some purpose to it!! Some suspect that the mods are behind this, but why? Hmmm, guess we'll have to wait and see. Most of them joined in August, all have about the same number of posts, all have been TAGGED. :confused3

Yeah, I don't think the taggers come over to the photography board. They must think we're a bunch of nerds talking all f/stops and ISO and lenses and stuff.

If only they knew what they were missing over here.

Looks like the photo board hasn't jumped into the Ty fray -- surely one of those celebs is also a shutterbug? (Another vote for getting Leonard Nimoy involved -- he's a photographer --Live Long and Prosper!).

Over on Ty's Monday Good Morning thread, he and Tim are looking for guesses about what the big secret project is -- Tim has given a hint or two.

If it's revamping of the DISboards, I'm hoping they work in an option to make it easier to get through long threads (less copying of whole posts of other people, making photos that are posted smaller and faster loading, easier to subscribe besides just posting a smiley/icon or one word (along with everything else in someone's sig, etc.) -- I enjoy reading what you all have to say, and seeing the photos, but my pokey old computer just can't keep up!

Maybe I'm just jealous because I haven't yet figured out how to do all those fancy smilies! (But I do know how to resize photos for web posting).

Actually, it is sounding a lot like it's going to be some type of virtual contest (is that a "project"?).
