I rang to book one of these for October and they said they weren't doing it then. Is it only in peak times then? I was quite surprised as I thought they did it all year round.

I was told the same thing when I called .... but, someone on DIS said to still ask when you get to your hotel. I guess you can only book upon arrival now?

I guess you have to ask at check in. However you can't make resrvations yet for October anyway as reservations can only be made 60 days in advance. I'm (not so patiently) waiting for the October hours to come out so I can plan what time we are going to eat!!

GMFB is still going strong, but you can no longer book it in advance.
You just ask when you check into your hotel instead.

Danauk, you can book October restaurants now - I also thought it was only 60 days in advance, but I just booked the Blue Lagoon for the middle of October with no problem.

I need to know the park hours before I book, some of our evening meal times will depend on when the park closes. I think they will be different due to the new Mickeys Halloween parties. Having said that I could phone tomorrow and just ask I guess! I'm going to Disneyland and Las Vegas next month and will be there at the 60 day mark so am getting impatient!!

I wouldn;t worry too much about Dinner reservations. I was there a couple of weeks back, and it was absolutely heaving and people were just making reservations that day for a couple of hours later with no probs at all. Even for Walts and Lucky nugget.

I recon you'd get anything you wanted at a weeks notice.

I agree ~ it's only at times like Christmas or if you're wanting a specific place at a specific time on a specific date that's it's really necessary to book in advance. I booked all my meals last week with less than a month to go and got all the times I wanted. Lots of people wait until they're there and still get what they want without any problems. :)

When we booked our stay for April they told us, that we were not able to reserve the "Fantasyland breakfast" in advance but should ask at the reception desk when checkin in.

An indeed we got lucky. However they actually do not make reservations they just hand out a plastic card to you which entitles you to go and have breakfast. That's all. But Fantasyland breakfast is not every day so keep your fingers crossed that it will be in October as well. I will do the same as we are going to DLP in October as well. ;)
