Good meeting place at Animal Kingdom entrance?

We have a Magical Gathering in May, and for our first day at Animal Kingdom our group will be coming from different resorts.

I'd like everyone to get through the turnstiles on their own, and meet somewhere after that.

Is there somewhere near the turnstiles that would be a good obvious place to meet where we would not be in the way of the crowd?

I would say avoid going to the right where the stroller rentals are...that is usually a busy place. I'm pretty sure you can only go right or left...so maybe just go straight ahead & wait there. (I don't know if that makes sense)

Yes, I'd agree with straight ahead. The entrances to the Oasis are to the left and right, so dead ahead is relatively good place to be.

Just beyond the turnstiles, make an immediate left, and meet in front of the restrooms. No crowds first thing in the morning, most folks use the facilities at their rooms before arriving at the parks. Yes, straight ahead are trees and plants, but they just act as a divider between the left and right paths into the park. And yes, don't go right, that is the stroller rental area, and that is a mass area of confusion first thing in the AM.
