I rarely post on the College Board but as I begin my 3 weeks of He**, I want to wish everyone else luck as well.

I have 14 assignments/quizes/finals due between now and the 20th of December. Three will be completed by tomorrow at 5pm and then it's another weekend of "apartment lockdown"

One semester of grad school nearly finished!

Here's a little something I pull out every time in the semester:

Why Do We Mess Up Exams?

A year has 365 days for you to study.

After taking away 52 Sundays, there are only 313 days left.

There are 50 days in the summer, during which time it is way too hot to work, so there are only 263 days left.

We sleep 8 hours a day meaning that, in a year, that counts up to 122 days, so now we're left with 141 days.

If we fooled around for only 1 hour a day, 15 days are gone, so we are left with 126 days.

We spend 2 hours eating each day, 30 days are used in this way in the year, and we are left with 96 days in our year.

We spend 1 hour a day speaking to friends and family, that takes away 15 days more and we are left with 81 days.

Exams and tests take up at least 35 days in your year, hence you are only left with 46 days.

Taking off approximately 40 days of holidays, you are only left with 6 days.

Say you are sick for a minimum of 3 days, you're left with 3 days in the year to study!

Let's say you only go out for 2 days! You are left with 1 day!

But that 1 day is your birthday, so...

I finsihed all my classes a year ago. and since i was gone for about a year, on the internship, i put in my papers and i'm graduating.. SOO NEAH NEAH. but before you say I have no right to brag.. iits taken me 10 years to ge my undergrad so yeah.

yes this certainly is the worst time of the semester. i have a bigger problem though, i went to disney the first week in Nov. and haven't been able to concentrate since. I looked over some of my notes today that i took last week and all the sides of my paper have doodles of Disney stuff!! i have no idea how i am going to pull myself together these last few weeks to make it! of course add to that that it's only 24 degrees here today and i didn't even want to go to class. man i miss disney my mother is trying to keep my spirits up by telling me that mickey wants me to do good! ya gotta love moms

Nah I filtered it myself- didn't want to get caught

I have a group assignment due tomorrow- I am estimating the completed, turned in "thing" to be approximately 80 pages (no typo)

I wrote 10 pages already, I have another section to write tonight, probably 4-5 pages. The other two group members have written similarly I am sure so thats 45 + references + tables + 25 or so pages of appendices

I can't wait till it's done! Then it's time to start the next one!

Back to work

I'm planning a Disney trip for the end of August- I have a total of 9 weeks "off" between now and graduation (3 this Jan, 2 in Aug, 1 for next Thanksgiving, and 3 for next Jan) and I have to find something to keep me going in the middle of it all.

I am soo ready for this semestser to be over! This is my last semester of classes as i will start student teaching in January and graduate in May.
I have 2 more sociology papers to finish...1 group presentation...case study, management plan ,and unit plan for education..cant wait til dec 14!

Ditto! I have soooooo much to do before the semester is over...and I have less than 2 weeks to do it! AHHHH!

Oh well, I just keep thinking that in one month from tomorrow I will be back in Disney!

Turned in a group (3 of us) assignment today at 5 minutes to 5pm (due at 5pm )

It was 91 pages typed on the computer plus another 20 pages of non-word document appendix pages and work... I would guess around 110 pages total

Can't believe it's DONE!!! The project took many many many hours (I would guess between 80 and 100 hours each x 3 people)

I have thankfully finished all my papers for the smester last day of classes was friday, so now we're in the exam period) and two of my exams for one of my classes.

I only have 3 exams left- one for Pharmacology, Two for Histology and I am having a really tough time preparing for them. I simply do NOT understand histology- I unerstand the theory, but when you put me in front of the microscope I am completely lost no matter how hard I work at it.

I have always been a A-A+ student, and this semester I'll be lucky if I can pull of a B average. Please understand that I am NOT trying to brag, I am just really worried and I hope that you can send some pixie dust my way. I am trying to get into Medical Schoool, so I need the highest possible marks. I just feel like I have lost my 'edge' this semester

Anyways, thanks for letting me vent and I wish you all the pixie dust and good luck for your exams/papers/assignments etc before we can boogie down in the Holiday spirit!

I have 2 weeks left, dead week and finals. I got lucky with my finals schedule this year so I think I will do well, I have a paper, 2 microbiology midterms and an organic chemistry midterm. Once I am done though, it's off to Tahoe to go skiing and partying.

For me, this semester has been the WORST one I've ever had. I've gone through 7 semesters, and this is by far the worst. It just seems like nothing is getting done, and there is so much to do!!

I know this is the wrong attitude, but at this point, I just care about passing. Forget the GPA.

I feel the same way about this semester. This is my last semester of classes (i student teach in January) and it was crazy this semester...so glad i am almost done!
