So, who's looking forward to the World Cup ?? I can't wait. It's great news that Wayne Rooney should be fine for later on in the competition :cheer2:

Good luck to all the lads, and especially to our wonderful England Captain

I Hope Stevie G is fit for the match, currently it's 50/50!

:cool1: :woohoo:  :dance3: :yay: :cheer2: :worship: :dancer: party: :jumping1:

We all wish the England team well, Glen's bedroom is covered in England stuff, the children at school have had a red and white day today, its a wonderful feeling when everyone feels united. GOOD LUCK ENGLAND :thumbsup2

We'll see how England does in the AM

Germany looked pretty good today--could have been a repeat like in 2002 vs Saudia Arabia 6-0
:cheer2:

I just had to pop over here and share this with the British Board. I was out and about this morning, running errands, when I spied a pickup truck flying two St George flags from both side windows. I wished so bad that I'd had my camera. And yesterday, when I picked up DS from school, I saw a little boy wearing an England jersey. When I asked him about it, he said his grandparents were British and he was wearing it for luck. :teeth:

I suspect he meant English grandparents ;)

England 1 - Paraguay 0

:) Well done England on the score, but what a frustrating game, I can only hope that they play better in the next game

wasn't the best game ever but its the result that counts !!
There will be teams who play better but don't get the result, although they will need to improve for the later rounds.

Was a disappointing match, the only goal being an own goal but still a win is better then a draw!

I'm afraid I shan't be watching as I loath football. I hope they do well but actually wish Wales were playing so I could vaguely support them - stil wouldn't watch though :teeth:

Oh how I longed to post on this thread on saturday but my pc wasn't having it to be - rubbish game great result! 3 points is 3 points, wish I was there!
