I can't believe the price!! So...if my family of four adults ate there, the bill would be $240 + tax & tip? The consensus on this forum is that H&V offers a mediocre buffet, so this just doesn't make sense to me :confused3 Why on earth would anybody even consider paying this? Or...paying this at any buffet period?

The dinner buffet is $32.99 for adults. Not sure where you're getting $60 from :confused3

We ate there last year and it was no where near $60.00 pp....with that being said........it isn't worth $32.99. Just my opinion. I was a little disappointed.

Just out of curiosity, where did you get the $60 price from? We had the character lunch there last summer and were on the free dining plan so I dont know what the cost was but it wasnt near $60.

Disney's own website puts the cost at Hollywood & Vine dinner as "$36 to $59.99"

Not that I've ever seen any reports anywhere that they've actually charged $59.99. Nor do I know where they got that price range.

Yep, I got the $59.99 from Disney's website. But even at $32.99 it's ridiculous!

And THAT is why we only do the DDP. It is SO worth it.:thumbsup2 For $42 per person a day, I can NEVER finish all the food and always take the dessert to our resort for a snack~! ;)

Worst meal I've EVER eaten at WDW! I wouldn't even eat there again if it was free! I work in Food & Beverage at WDW and I was embarassed at how bad the food was!!

I didn't think it was $60 - more like $35.99 - and yes, dreadful.

even 35.99 is highway robbery Disney is gigh because they know they haveyo, I complain and go anywys so as long as the places are staying above water they will keep charging high prices or close down and start another olace

My guess is that the $59.99 is for the Fantasmic! dinner package.

the breakfast is no good either.

Disney does not put actual prices on their website's restaurant pages (except on the actual menu PDF) but for the general descriptions of restaurants, they use $ signs followed by typical price ranges for that class of restaurant. There must have been a glitch when OP was looking, because I'm looking at H & V on the Disney website right now, and it's showing "$$($15-$35.99 per person) The "$$" restuarants include all the buffets and lower range table-service restaurants.

While I agree that $32.99 is way too much at Hollywood & Vine (not a quality place, lol), it definitely is NOT $59.99.

the "$$$ ($36-$59.99 per person)" is the cost range shown for Signature restaurants and specialty places .

This is why I am leaving Hollywood Studios and going to Cape May Cafe for dinner and back to HS for EMH!

Another reason why we love the Dining Plan. For $42 we get more food than we can eat in a day!

We've eaten there once and never again. I compared it to Golden Coral which is by NO means, worth the price Disney charges!! It was a $10 buffet and tasted like a $10 buffet! :sad2:

This page

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/hollywood-and-vine/

is where that price is coming from. And I believe it is an error. They don't start dinner at $36 as the child's price. This same price range is given for the Brown Derby so it's my guess they put the wrong price range on the wrong page. Another misstep for the Disney official website.

And there is no extra charge for the Fantasmic package.
