Hello!

My daughter will be playing in a volleyball tournament this summer at ESPN and the info says games will be played at both ESPN and the Convention Center. Anyone had the inconvenience of trying to go back and forth between the two? Is there a good place to stay when you have to be at both over the course of several days? I was thinking of staying at WDW, but that would seem silly if we have to go all the way to the Convention Center for some, most, or all games.

We would like a clean, safe, modern place with free, convenient parking- a complimentary breakfast would be nice, too. Considered the new Flamingo Crossing hotels. I know they aren't close to the Convention Center, but they are new and have free parking and complimentary breakfast.

Flamingo Crossing is going to be a long commute to Convention Center.

I have stayed just north of the Convention Center and still only about 15+ minutes to Disney, not bad. I would stay in between.

I suggest you look at the Palm Parkway hotels. They fit your bill, easy drive to ESPN Center, just over the bridge to outlet malls and back ways up to Convention Center or easy enough to get on I-4. Dining options, groceries etc. Minutes to Disney Springs.

Look at:
Homewood Suites Hilton LBV
Hampton Inn LBV
Holiday Inn Express and Suites Orlando
Residence Inn
Springhill Suites
Townplace Suites

Also check by Outlet Mall:
Home2Suites
Holiday Inn and Suites Orlando

I'm impartial to Floridays Resort (local Publix supermarket within walking distance). It is close to Disney Springs and an easy drive to the convention center (it is on I-Drive). I am local and have stayed for many staycations there without any issues. It is modern, safe, clean and the minimum size suites are 2BR/2BA. They have fully equipped kitchens (utensils/range/refrigerator/dishwasher/microwave). I have also found them to be very affordable.

Not sure about free breakfast, but they usually have a promotion for it. There is a resort/parking fee, however.
