Hi everyone! This probably isn't the best place to be posting this, but I figured I'd get more responses on the budget board than the community board! I need some recommendations on what works for your hair! I'm trying to find a product for my semi-thick, wavy hair. I'd like to be able to put something in it and let it dry naturally and have it look ok. I don't have time to blow dry every morning! Let me know your hair styling tricks... I'd love some good product advice! My hair does tend to get frizzy, but only in the humidity, so now's a good time for me to try some new stuff!

I like to buy products that haven't been tested on animals, so cruelty free products would be great! Thanks everyone!

I have long curly thick hair that puffs if it dries naturally, so I need the weight to way it down. What works for me is the Paul Mitchell super Skinny and the Paul Mitchell super Clean Gel.

I put the Paul Mitchell Skinny in when the hair is wet after I have combed it out with a wide tooth comb, about 8 drops in my palm, rub my hands together and run it through my hair, then comb it again. Fluff it out, blow dry only my bangs to a side swipe and then put a dollop of gell in my hands and run it through my hair. then I don't touch my hair till it is dry. Then that is the only time I will fluff it out a little with only my hands. This usually happens at work.

Never run a brush through it.

Hope this helps.:goodvibes

Garnier Wonder Waves. I spray when damp and let air dry. It brings out my natural wave with not a lot of work. It's my go to.

I have naturally curly hair that I blow out and straighten. The best product I have ever used is "Keratin Complex Infusion Therapy by Coppola." Try it! A little bit goes a long way- you can use a nickle size amount and it last about 10 shampoos. A friend at work told me about it and my hairdresser let me sample some the last time I got a cut. I bought the product the following week. It's about $27-$30 but will last you a very long time.

here's a link to the product

I use Herbal Essences Totally Twisted mousse. I just put it on wet hair and let it dry naturally. I haven't found anything better and it is only $3!

I have curly hair and LOVE moroccon oil, it works awesome!!!! You should be able to get it at a hair salon.

Deva Curl! It is awesome! I have tried every type of product and this is the only one that works. Even in the most humid weather, my hair doesn't frizz anymore.

Thanks everyone! Now I just have to figure out which one to try! :)

Curls Rock by Tigi. It's the same company that makes Bed Head shampoos and conditioners. I love that stuff. I wash my hair, put that in it and let it dry naturally. That's all I do and it's wonderful.

This is what I use too!!! Only I put it on my hair and let it dry for about 10 minutes then finish with a blow dryer. i have very naturally curly thick hair and its a pain, but this is the best stuff to keep it curly and frizz free...And the price is awesome too!!!

I'm also a Herbal Essence user in the warmer months when it's warm enough to let my hair dry naturally. I use the Tousle Me Softly products and they work great...no frizz.

I like KMS products; either their curl cream or flat out cream. I get it at my salon. It's expensive, but lasts me a long time. The curl cream just enhances the curl and cuts out frizz. The flat just cuts the frizz and my hair is more wavy with it, or I can blow it out and it'll be straight. I'm sorry though, I have no idea if it's tested on animals. I feel like a bad animal lover now.
