Good friends and the mouse who could ask for more??

Tevas were my second choice, but the reefs were a little cuter on me. I wear size 11 so its hard finding shoes that dont look like canoes at the ends of my legs

My problem was finding sandals narrow enough for me.....most of the sandals are so wide that even with adjusting the straps, they still slid side to side. The ones I ended up with looked a little dressier than what I wanted, but they fit nice so I went with it!

So my brother has decided he is going to come with us. He just recently moved to Oregon so it will be nice to spend the weekend with him.

I feel like our plans have changed so many times that I need to write a new PTR but thats ok I only have two readers and im sure you guys are smart enough to keep up, the question is am I?

I am actually really excited that my brother is coming with us, we havnt done a trip like this together in probably 8 or 9 years. I think the last trip was Disneyland when I was a freshman and he was a senior in High School. We have a lot of fun memories from our trips to Disneyland so I thought I would share one of them.....

There was the time when our grandparents(who raised us) finally let us explore the parks by ourselves, so we of course decided we were going to go nonstop from opening until closing. By around 10pm we were sooooo tired we could barely walk. On top of that my brother always wore converse in high school, well I did too so that I could be cool like my brother, needless to say our feet were killing us because they have absolutley no support in them. So we were exhausted and could barely walk, but we really wanted to push on until midnight. So we made our way to the bakery on main street because Lonnie wanted to get a shot of espresso, well I didnt realize he was getting one for me too! I had never had anything like it and was so nervouse about trying to drink this shot of espresso. I had it in my mind that it was going to taste like a mix between tar and mud since thats what it looks like. So were standing on Main Street and hes telling me to plug my nose and drink it and not to unplug it until I know the taste is out of my mouth. I was worried enough and this was just making it worse. Well I drank it and he was laughing at me so I started laughing and took a big ole breath right after I swallowed it and couldnt believe how strong it was!!! We ran for a drinking fountain as fast as we could where I chugged as much water as I could stand to drink. However it worked we were fuled up and ready to go and sure enough made it to midnight and even a little later.

Woo Hoo for your brother coming!! You said he's in Oregon....where at?? We're in Salem, lived in the North Bend/Coos Bay area for 10 yrs & the last 3 yrs in Medford.

Love the espresso story..... I hate the taste of coffee....so I would have been gagging bad!!

Down to 4 days!!! Can't believe it's almost here!!

He is living in Ashland now but just got a job in Medford so he will be moving there in a few weeks.

I am so excited!!!! We are leaving day after tomorrow so I started packing tonight, and figured out all my outfits woo hoo!!

So remember how i said my husband is ridiculously skinny..... well becuase of his body type he has problems with his lungs collapsing, it has happened 4 times now. The 4th time happened yesterday. Of all the times!!! It isn't very bad though every other time he has been in excruciating pain and had to go to the hospital and have surgery on them. However this time it is small enough to fix itself. It is already a little better today, so he still wants to go, he is just going to take it super easy while we are there. He can breath fine and everything he just gets a little twinge of pain if he moves a certain way. So keep him in you prayers if you think about it!

Were leaving tomorrow!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! I painted my toes today they are red with white polka dots and a black bow on the big toes in honor of Minnie Mouse Im almost all packed I just have to get the last minute stuff that I need to use to get ready tomorrow, then drop my dog off at a friends and we are on the road!

Yikes...how scary about your hubby!! Glad to hear it wasn't as bad this time....but how painful! Hopefully he'll be fine during your trip. Prayers will be going your way!!

Cool......where is your brother gonna work in Medford?? My hubby & son worked for Harry & David's for a couple years....but because of the economy, they were laid off a ton....so we had to leave the area to find work.

You should take a pic of your toes....sounds super cute!!

We made it to Anaheim. It was a pretty uneventful drive down. We hit some traffic but it's pretty much unavoidable in la. We walked around DTD and had dinner at house of blues. We also bought shirts to wear tomorrow and it's kinda cool because we all ended up picking different shades of green. Wich should look good in pictures. Ok well I think we are going to hit the pool, by the way the room is GREAT! It's super big and very clean! (I'll post pictures later just thought I would update

WE HAD A BLAST!!!! I am going to start writing my trip report right now i promise. I am going to start a new thread for it though since it didnt really turn into the good friends trip lol
