Good Coworkers

Okay, we had the discussion about bad coworkers yesterday. It's only fair to discuss our best coworkers as well. My boss is wonderful. I can talk to him about anything (he is my pastor, after all) and he is always there for me.

I'm very fortunate to have excellent co-workers. We all pitch in, work as a team and have a lot of fun getting through the daily grind.

Most of my coworkers are great! The majority are team players (necessary in my office). I am close freinds in and out of work with several of them! It makes going to work more enjoyable!!!!

Although I don't feel necessarily "close" to any of my co-workers, I have to say they are terrific people, including my boss.

With my going through my first chemo treatment last week, they sent me a wonderful card, signed by each of them, and a beautiful gift basket from Bath & Body Works, filled with stuff to help me feel better on "yucky" days ahead.

I thanked them profusely and appreciate their friendship, thought, and prayers. VAL

There have been some terrific people here.

I was in a car accident one day and a co-worker drove me home (35 miles) then took a cab back to his own house. He just did it without hesitation and it was a complete surprize.

When my Mom passed away this Spring nearly everyone from work showed up at either the wake or funeral. Again, I was so touched and surprized by their support and thoughtfulness. Even my family commented on how wonderful they all were.

Just yesterday I was e-mailing back and forth with my former boss at the hospital and a coworker. My boss was tough, but she's a wonderful person! I'll be having lunch with them on Friday!! Now that I'm gone from that job 18 months, I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally miss them! Can't wait to see them!
