Not that I really need more, but... I'm going to pick up some Trans-Siberian Orchestra this year, I think. Are there any other good/unique Christmas singers/groups/orchestras? Who/What are your favorites?

Kenny Rogers/Dolly Parton
Oak Ridge Boys (Their first Christmas Album)
Andrew Sisters
Bing Crosby
Elvis
John Denver and the Muppets
Brenda Lee

These are the ones I have been listening to this week.

Mannheim Steamroller....my fave!
I second that! They are going to be here around the 21st of December and we plan to attend the concert.

I have some fantastic Christmas CDs featuring the casts of Broadway Shows. They put out a new CD every year, and it's always called "Broadways Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure." It's a mixture of traditional and original holiday songs. I have always enjoyed the CDs, and when I play them for others, they love them as well. The casts always do a fantastic job on their songs, and some of the original songs are quite good. Some of the CDs also feature Chaunukah and Kwanzaa songs. And the proceeds of the CD go directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which is a wonderful charity. You can check out the CDs at www.broadwaycares.org

Another great Broadway holiday CD is "Broadway Cares: Home for the Holidays," which is also available on www.broadwaycares.org. This one features some top rate Broadway stars doing holiday favorites. Some of the performers featured on this CD are Liza Minnelli and Alan Cumming doing "Baby It's Cold Outside," Sam Harris (of Star Search fame) doing "Merry Christmas Darling," Jane Krakowski doing "Santa Baby," and Victor Garber doing, "I'll Be Home For Christmas." It's one of my favorite holiday CDs.

I also love my Linda Eder Christmas CD. She's another Broadway star, and she has an amazing voice. Many people think she sounds like Barbara Striesand.

I also enjoy the holiday CD that Harry Connick Jr. did about six or eight years ago.

I love Mannheim Steamroller as well. Another good one is The Carpenters Christmas CD. Can't remember the name of it right now but it's a 2 disc set. Very good.

I really love the Christmas CD that Point of Grace put out a few years ago. I think it is called A Christmas to Remember.

I enjoy Point of Grace, too! Didn't know they had a Christmas cd...I'll be putting that on my list! I like Amy Grant's Christmas music, too.

We love Harry Connick, Jr.'s first CD. It is the very first CD we play on Black Friday:D This year I am sure his second will follow our tradition::yes:: Another favorite of mine is Kenny G's Christmas CD's. He did a version of Silent Night with news clips for the millenium and I get goosebumps every time I hear it.

We have a radio station here that started playing 24 hour Christmas music for this weekend and at some point in the next few weeks will change to ALL holiday music. It started well before Thanksgiving this year. I can't wait:hyper:

Go to QVC and do a search for Esteban. He is a flamingo guitarist and has a beautiful Christmas CD. Now, normally- this is NOT my kind of music, but this cd is fantastic- I can highly recommend it.

Here are my favorites,

Carnie and Wendy Wilson, Hey Santa
SheDaisy, Brand New Year
Harry Connick Jr, not the new one (which I have but it's still growing on me)
Kenny and Dolly
Amy Grant
The Beach Boys

I think SheDaisy is my favorite of them all though.

No one make fun of me!! enough people do already :p

Randy Travis - An Old Time Christmas

Rainbow Brite Christmas record

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and other Children's Christmas Favorites - Gene Autry with Rosemary Clooney

and the CD I made with all my favorite Christmas songs - of course! :)

Kohl's has a Christmas CD for sale right now that is good. The first song is the best!

The Ally McBeal Christmas cd is awesome!! Ok, I know the show was pretty bad, but the music is great! John Denver and the Muppets is good too! And A Very Rosie Christmas, Manhiem Steamroller, and Kenny G.

I'm buying both Ally McBeal and Harry Connick Jr this year

But for laughs I'll vote for South Park's cd and Adam Sandler
