Gonna Jump Out the Window and Run to Disney World! Oct '12 PTR

I renewed my subscription to TouringPlans.com :yay: I now have my predicted days for my trip. :dance3:

10-21 Sunday
Epcot

10-22 Monday
HS

10-23 Tuesday
MNSSHP

10-24 Wednesday
Animal Kingdom

10-25 Thursday
MK EMMH

10-26 Friday
MK

I'm not sure how I feel doing MK two days in a row, but this was the best set up with the crowd levels. Also, there is only one day (Wednesday) that the MK is open in the evening with no MNSSHP... We would have to leave MK early on both Thursday and Friday... What would we do? Go to another resort for dinner? I don't care to go to DD more than once really..

Go play mini-golf! Or play in the arcade. Do a swim (is it warm enough then?). A long dinner (maybe with characters?).

I renewed my touringplans subscription, too:thumbsup2.

I found your PTr on the October board and have read through. Congratulations on your baby that is wonderful, you have a lively family. We surprised our Dd 7&2 for Christmas this last year and booked a bounce back for Oct. 21-27 at POR which is home for us. We are thinking of adding a couple days offsite for a day at seaworld. As for your ADR I would consider trading CRT for Akershus. That would save 1 credit, or you could pay for CRT OOP when you book. That's what we did when we did regular Disney dining. Last trip we did deluxe and lived that so we will upgrade to that again. Tusker house has been our least favorite character meal and we will be dropping it this trip to give 1900 park fare a try at breakfast.

I think we have decided on a resort... Port Orleans Riverside!!

Does anyone know if the Royal Rooms have a trundle or Murphy bed?

I also figured out our dining. Now, WDW needs to stick with the touringplans.com's projected hours! :thumbsup2

The Royal Rooms do not have a trundle bed. The trundle bed rooms are only located in the Alligator Bayou section. The Royal Rooms are in 2 of the mansions on the Magnolia Bend side.

Joining in, we changed our dates and will be going the same week in October. Great plans so far.

Thank you! We'll be seeing you at POR :) We HAVE to do CRT, because I want to :rotfl2:
I'm not doing Tusker House this time, we are trying to do all new experiences. :goodvibes

Thanks for that info Jenny! I talked to a CM on the phone today and he said definetely call back in a few months and see if any of the Royal Rooms would accomodate our family.

Welcome!! :goodvibes

We are booked!! Port Orleans Riverside, here we come!
There were NO standard rooms available, only preferred and river view!
Also, I had a 10% code with a FREE park hopper & water parks upgrade attached to my email! He said that it was something new that Disney was trying out..
The CM recognized my name and email from a previous call :lmao: How funny is that!

I am SO excited to finally be booked!!

Congrats on booking! I have been kinda watching the POR thread and I was surprised by how many different room categories there now are at POR. I think preferred is actually a good thing at POR since the resort is so spread out. I just wish that you didn't have to pay for it now. When we stayed in 2010, we stayed in building 18 and it was very nice!

joining in. we will be at POR the week before you. We've been the week you are going before, and it was definitely still warm enough to swim. still in the 80's. your kids are adorable!
