Gonna Jump Out the Window and Run to Disney World! Oct '12 PTR

I'll raise my hand at coordinating, too. It's very difficult with DD8 and DD1 because very few stores sell the items in both of those sizes, but I have found a few that I like.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), I don't have any boys except my DH, so I'm not sure what you would dress a boy in to coordinate with the princesses. I would think maybe just trying to coordinate colors might work.

Last year's trips were the first time I did the coordinating things and I tried to do it for the whole family. We didn't match exactly, but I tried to keep theming/coloring the same. DH didn't realize it in May, but when we went with his mom in Sept, she made a comment about all of us wearing some sort of jungle/safari print clothing on our AK day. DH looked down, rolled his eyes, and said "I should have known!"

:rotfl2: That is awesome!!! :rotfl:

I've been on www.etsy.com looking for shirts and dresses.. I'm thinking that on the day Briar wears her princess dress, I'll have the boys in some kind of pirate themed clothing, since they are doing the Pirate League!

I know he's not old enough for Pirate's League, but I just pictured Kasper in pirate gear...cutest thing ever:lovestruc!!
That's a cute idea! I've been looking at etsy, too. Might need to rob a bank to buy what I think my kids need!

I can't wait.. You know what our babies will be old enough for?? First haircut at the barber shop! Now, I just need for Kasper to grow some hair lol!

EXACTLY!!! I want him to get his cut, but right now he's just got fuzz! It better get to growing!

The first haircut is so super sweet!!!!

I wanted to get my little one's haircut last May when we went, but she didn't even have enough hair to cover her head, let alone get it cut. So, when my MIL asked us to go again in Sept, I was all over that first haircut! I even made a reservation (not that it did any good) for right at park opening.

They do such a good job with the little ones! Sorry, but I have to post pics:

They start off by putting a ton of stickers all over:

Then, they give them a spinner toy to keep them occupied:

And then come the ears!!!!

This is absolutely precious!!! I just love it!! Thanks for posting pics!!

BTW, is that shirt that she's wearing Gymboree? :rolleyes1

Oh, and it did no good to make reservations? Like, they were busy or not?

Tentative List of ADRs---------UPDATED

HS

50s Prime Time
Fairfax fare

AK

Donald's Safari Breakfast

Chef Mickeys --dinner
Poly Breakfast

We decided to make a few changes. I was thinking that since we are doing MNSSHP on Tuesday, there would be no reason for a big sit down meal at TTS. So, I think we'll do TWO CS meals that day.. that frees up one more TS meal, and I believe the character breakfast at AK will be the meal we use it on! I LOVE that breakfast, and since we won't be at AK for a terribly long time, it will be a good use of credits..

Now, just to figure out DD meals..

That shirt was actually from Crazy 8. It's the same company as Gymboree, just a lower price point. Great clothes and great matching/coordinating things, plus super great prices! Love it!

We had an appt right at opening and there were a couple other families waiting, too. They opened the door and just took the closest child. They didn't ask if anyone had reservations or not.

There are 3 chairs and they filled them up right away. We ended up being fourth in line and I made sure that I told them we had a reservation when we checked in (I didn't want to get charged as a no show) and the CM said "Oh, you should have said something!"

It was fine, though, we only waited about 10 minutes. We had a fun time listening to the mother who was very particular about how she wanted her son's hair cut.

ADR's sound great! I've personally only done Chef Mickey's and Donald's Safari Breakfast, but I love them both!!!!!

I asked this on the Sept thread but haven't heard an answer..

I have a question about booking ADRs.. I will be up early of course and online to book my family's ADRs, my friend & her family are going with us, and we are having all of our meals together. Will I be able to book her ADRs with my reservation? Or will I have to use her reservation # to do hers?

Or can I just book each meal under my ressie # for a party of 10?

Oh my.. well I am glad you mentioned that you could make reservations, because I did not even know that! Funny about the particular mom.. when I take my oldest DS to get his hair cut, I am like, just cut it! :rotfl:

I love Crazy 8! I think I bought more there this past year than Gymboree..

Thanks!! I've done the safari breakfast also, I loved it! I am SO excited about Chef Mickey's!!

I used to spend so much money at Gymboree! It was out of control. Now my DD is almost 9 and I feel like a lot of the stuff is very baby-ish, but Crazy 8 doesn't come across that way as much so we head there.

ADRs, oh ADRs. I have a couple that I know are "for sure", but I haven't had time to really get into planning.

We are hoping to do CRT for breakfast. **fingers crossed**

Biergarten dinner
Les Chefs lunch

We are considering Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner and 1900 Park Fare for dinner.

I'm sure we need some more, but I can't remember what we are considering.

Hi Brea!!! I'm joing in on the fun!!! Now I have to go back and read the entire ptr!!! Yahooooooo!!!!:goodvibes

I plan and think about it nearly everyday. It's a sickness I tell ya! :lmao:

I've ate at WCC for lunch, I thought the food was really good! I like the family style meals. :thumbsup2

Les Chefs? Is that new?

Hi Brea!!! I'm joing in on the fun!!! Now I have to go back and read the entire ptr!!! Yahooooooo!!!!:goodvibes

Hi!! Welcome to my PTR, glad you joined us! :cheer2:

Sorry, Brea, I meant Les Chefs de France at Epcot. I have been craving their french onion soup since last September. Yummm!!!!

I think we are going to eat at Via Napoli in Italy at Epcot one night with some friends of ours. They've eaten there, but we have not, so that's another new one for us.

I love trying new places, and your ADR list seems much different from mine! I can't wait to hear all about your experiences!

Here is our Disney Fund

DS5 made the HS side, DD3 made the MK side :lovestruc

I did the top and DH did the Epcot and AK sides. :)
