Golfers who have been to VB can you recommend a course for my DH?

He is bringing his clubs, but we have never stayed in the area.

What he is looking for is a challenging course that is not a lot of money.

Any ideas? TIA.

I'll ask my DH. He's been to a few of the local courses.

He played our local public course the other day. He was upset because they were held up all day and then the ranger wanted them off the course at 7:30 with 4 holes left to play.

Make sure to pick up a local paper when you are down here. They often have golf coupons in them.

I was there in early May and played at Sandridge, they have two 18 hole courses, it's public and not a bad course. It was very inexpensive also, cost only $99 for 2 players with cart and club rentals. It's only a 10 min drive from the resort too.
