Golf?

We are coming over from the UK & my father really wants to go to the Funai golf tournament on Sunday 22nd Oct.
Can he get tickets or reserve them before we travel or is it pretty easy to get in on the day?
Any info would be great thanks

My wife and I are also planning on attending the tournament on Thursday. I talked to a person at the Orlando Chamber of Commerce, who handle ticket sales, and she told me that I could buy tickets now or buy them at the gate. She said they never sell out ahead of time so there are always tickets available at the gate. I'm choosing to wait and get them at the gate just in case the weather is lousy the day we can attend.
In case you didn't know, a one-day pass is $30 and a weekly badge is $50.

Just so you know the easiest way to get to the Shades of Green where they hold the tournament is by taking transportation to the Polyenisian and then walking up the path to the Shades of Green. You could also try to get on a Shades of Green bus at the TTC or at MGM or AK but they do not park where the Disney buses park.

I read here earlier that in past years there is a shuttle bus from a parking lot at Epcot. So, I guess if you have your own car, you can park it at the golf tournament shuttle lot at Epcot and then hop the bus to the tournament site at the Palm and Magnolia golf courses......or you can catch a disney bus from any resort or park to this same shuttle lot and then catch the bus......or you can just find your way, by disney transportation (bus or monorail), to the Polynesian and take the 5 minute walk from there.

So the palm & magnolia are near shades of green???
