Can someone tell me what thread I should look in regarding Golf at Disney. As well, does anyone know what golf course the Turf Club overlooks?:confused3

Sorry haven't seen a golf board here :confused3 - may be quite interested in that myself as just took up the game last year. :cool1:
Have a look on www.orlandogolfer.com and it may help with your Turf Club question. :thumbsup2

The turf club overlooks the Lake Buena Vista Course.

I usually do a search on "golf". That is how I found this thread. I also usually do the search by start date rather than relavancy. Also note that you will have to sort through threads that include use of golf carts at some of the resorts and mini golf, but that is not to difficult.

Also confirming that the Turf Club over looks the Lake Buena Vista course

"Transportation is provided at no charge (via taxi) to and from select Walt Disney World® Resorts for Guests playing at one of Disney's golf courses."

Does anyone know what resorts this includes?

I know for a fact that it includes the Vacation Club Resorts since I have used the service as recently as last December. I'm also sure that it included the Deluxe Resorts. I'm not sure about the Moderate or Value resorts. If you are staying at one of them, you should call the Resort or the Golf number to confirm the service. This specific service is not available to non Disney hotels on the porperty (ie Swan, Dolphin and the DTD properties) although they may have their own programs.

Yep, it's LBV. A fun course, but if you're just so-so (like me) bring extra golf balls 'cause there's definitely water! I went last September and stayed at SSR and got the taxi service to the Oak Trails 9 hole course as well. If you want a quick round of golf on an empty course, go to Oak Trails! It's tucked up in the Palm and Magnolia courses and it's a lot of fun without being overly challenging.

One thing to remember about Oak Trail is that it is walking only. They do have pull carts for rent
