my golf cart took a dump a couple of months ago. i was wondering if anyone had reccomendations of places to get a new one. or if anyone has one for sale in so.fla region. mine was too old and gonna cost more to fix than the whole thing was worth. not looking for immediate purchase but in the next couple of months

I see tons of them posted on Craigslist, check the listings for your area. Here in Nashville they tend to mostly post them under recreational vehicles. Down there the market should be pretty good with retirees looking to trade up to a newer model. Since you aren't in a hurry you have time to search, but if you see one you really want you might have to pounce on it.

Have you looked at ebay? Or we have a Club Car place a couple miles from here. I'm sure you could get one there for a wad of dough. Google "used golf carts for sale" and a bunch turn up. Mine is in rehab for new batteries after I get the battery frame clean and repainted. And I have a horn to put on.

5o, if we sell the place in N.C. you could just use that one. :rotfl2:

JK, did bill get his fixed, or are they still using ours when they go up there?

She has one in her garage. Keith was supposed to fix it, but doesnt feel like it anymore.
I don't know what it is, but it runs, and needs some cosmetic work. Yo9u could paint it like the General Lee and put your horn on it.

there is a guy in ft pierce selling used carts for around 900...he bought a whole lot from a golf course

look under treasure coast craigslist and you will see him...he advertises all the time there...

does anyone know what is better. buying one a little lifted and suped up a little or doing it all yourself. also is it better to get gas or 48 volt electric. I wanna get a nice one but i do not want to spend an arm and a leg. unless i have to. but i want one that will last a long time.

do it yourself...that way you can put what you want on it, and work within your budget and time frame

hey starbuc how do you like your loft. me and the wife were looking into one of those but went back with the keystone sprinter. i really wanted the loft for races

Lornaduck here on the boards and her hubby also sell some cool carts. Alumicart. A very nice cart! But they are also always getting some good trade-ins.

The loft has it's pro and cons. We actually bought it on instict due to the great price we got it for. I now wish at times we went with the fifth wheel with the side toy door. We did not like the floor plans at the time of the regular toy haulers with the folding eating areas and rear doors. More R&D should have went into the loft area and the unit would have been perfect. I would probably trade it down the road but all RV dealers are con men in disguise and won't give you crap on trade-in for their so called "gold" they have.
