Anyone golf at VB and could suggest courses? Fees? I've done the search of surrounding courses. It seems many are private or really high end.

It's been a few years, but Sandridge is nice. They have two 18 hole courses. There is a nice higher end course, but I can't fully remember the name. I believe it's Indian _____? It's South of VB if I remember. I did play Dodger Pines several years ago, and didn't like it. This was 2001.

I agree with Sandridge. Both courses, despite being munys, are both quite solid and well manitained. Fairwinds and The Habitat are also good values, albeit 30-45 minutes away. Pointe West is OK from what I hear, but not much of a value.

This website has a list and some reviews of course along the Treasure and Space coasts:

I agree, Sandridge is okay, Champions at Summerfield is good, I played Fairwinds a lot as it was the closest decent course while we lived in Fort Pierce for 16 months, Eagle Marsh is a ball eater, Martin Creek, Habitat and Hammock creek are all okay, Cocoa beach CC is cool because it's right on the Indian river, I really liked the Majors and then the PGA's in St Lucie are all excellant.
Be careful to ask when the greens were last aerated or if they lost their greens, both happend at several courses I played regularly and I'd quit playing until either they got their greens back or several weeks had passed since aeration.
There are lots of courses and unfortunatly, my job took me to upstate NY so I'm not playing like I was last winter.
