Hi, I read that golden oak outpost is open seasonally. Does this mean it will be open mid december?
I will be there on 12/18/15 and was hoping to try the topped waffle fries. Thanks for your help.

1) When checking for that date, the Outpost says "No Time Available", which means at this moment, it is not on the schedule.
2) Doesn't mean it isn't open, just not yet scheduled.
3) Check back as the date gets closer.

thanks Rusty as always for your help :)

I've been numerous times through the yeAr and never saw it open. What is the typical season that it is open?

1) My goodness.
2) In one trip, you found . . . The Golden Fleece & The Holy Grail of WDW eateries.
3) Now, if you only fond open Tortuga Tavern . . . that would have been a coup.

If I remember correctly, Tortuga was also open, but I didn't stop since they removed my taco salad :-(

Pretty sure Golden Oak and Tortuga were both open when we were there last July. Seasonally usually means summer when places are busy.

When we go in December (around Christmas) we could never catch it open. This past May it was open and we tried the fries. They're ok, but not for the price charged.

Not that it necessarily matters this year but it was open mid December last year. The sweet potato nuggets were really good too.
