Golden Horseshoe closed?

Shows and attractions are different situations. No one can stay on a ride all day. You get back to the loading dock/platform, you get off. I do know people who see every Aladdin, always in the front row (not what I consider the best seats, but one of them has physical problems which prevent her from seeing at a distance). They leave the theater between shows, but that's because the CMs clear it. If/when Golden Horseshoe goes back to that, I'll be doing the same thing. If I'm willing to put in the time, what's the big deal? And, just so you know, typically at least 50% of the Billy audience is repeat visitors, and this weekend, it was probably 80-90%. So there weren't all that many first timers.

And, actually, yes, I would be (and am) ok with people doing that for shows. Makes me think it must be really good. Also, with the Billys, not everyone wants the front or is able to handle it (the whole getting picked on factor).

When you say "getting picked on," what exactly do you mean? I would LOVE to sit in the front with my DH and act like I have no idea that they do this so he would get picked on, I just don't want to get picked on! :rolleyes2 As long as they don't make me get up out of their chair, I think I could handle it.

I am really looking forward to this show. I will be on the lookout for Jen in the front center table! :wizard:

Warning to Kellymouse--it's typically the females who get picked on. But, only the green team (Thursdays and Fridays) ever makes you get out of your chair (where someone is asked to come on stage). Otherwise it's just some flirting type stuff. Enough to make you blush (or maybe cringe), but not enough to offend.

And to Yookeroo--you're comparing apples to oranges when you compare rides to shows. What about people with season tickets to sporting event--don't they monopolize all the good seats (and get first crack at playoff tickets and other events at that facility)? And if they don't show up or either sell or give their ticket to the game to someone, that seat goes empty. At least if I'm not at DL, the table I like to sit at won't be empty. And what about people in fan clubs for bands and singers? They often get first crack at the best seats for concerts. I paid quite a bit of money to be able to go to DL whenever I want and do what I want in there. So, if I want to ride just one ride all day, I will (and yes, of course I get off and get back in line, as you must with rides) or if I want to see one show over and over all day I will. I'm just doing what the current policy allows. If and when the Golden Horseshoe policy changes, then I'll either take my chances with going outside and getting in line with everyone else (currently there is only a line-up for the first show of the day) or see fewer shows. If you still want to berate me, please do it as a PM. Otherwise I'll have to lock this thread and I don't want to do that to those with legitimate questions.

We just saw this show for the first time yesterday. It was great. Then we went next door and bought their CD. We had no problems getting a table. The CM just told us to get there about 20 mins before the show. We went upstairs and had a great view! We would definately see them again.
