Day 3
Once again Dan was too tired for an 8:30 breakfast. Ive learned my lesson, no more early meals. I switched Fridays breakfast from 8:30 to 9:50 (the earliest available time). Off to Epcot Princess Breakfast all alone with Dan meeting up with me later. Another 45min wait for the bus while 2 or 3 of every other bus pulled up. A family had already been waiting for 15mins when I got there. I made to Norway with about 10 mins to spare. Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) were there. Let me take this chance to thank all of the extra CMs on hand at the character breakfasts that were willing to take pictures for me and other single travelers. Total $25.
After breakfast I rode the Figment ride. It just isnt the same =( Dan joined me around 10:30. He also reported a 40 min wait for the bus. We went on Fast Track as single riders. The ride stopped twice, once for about 15mins while we were in line and then for about 5 min right before we got off. Dan like it and said it was like when he drives.
Lunch, per Dans request, was at Biergarten around 12. I was pleasantly surprised. I didnt think I would like German food but it was very yummy and filling. Total $41. We rode Maelstrom with only a 5 min wait and skipped the movie at the end. Spaceship Earth was also only a 5 min wait. We went back to POR to swim and use the marina. We took out a canopy boat for an hour and 45 mins. Dan drove it all the way to DTD and then back again. Total $92.
We headed back to Epcot for dinner at Rose and Crown. We had a PS for 7:30 but were hungry at 6:30 and we were seated right away. I had the lamb barley soup (yum!), prime rib, and apple crumble. Dan had the fruit and cheese plate, fish and chips (lots of fish), and sweet toffee pudding (very good). Total $70.
We had E-Night tickets so took the monorail over to MK and got there around 9. We rode the train to Frontierland and rode BTR, HM and IASW before e-night started at 10. We then rode Buzz, TTA, Space Mt and Splash (twice) before leaving at 12. We had hoped to ride Space more than once but it was broken (lights on right before e-night started) so all the people in line before park closing had to ride and by the time they were through the e-night line was super long.
