Tough for me having been on 9 cruises and just missing Platinum!

Anyway, like others, I was loitering around and discovered booking opened maybe 15 minutes before 8 am. I quickly go to our primary date of interest, August 1-5. No two story Royal available. I go to choice #2, 3 night Labor Day. No two story Royal. Going into panic mode. I snag a two story Royal in mid July for a 4 night cruise, whew. I then get a 3 night two story Royal in early August before school starts. Just for fun I check all the dates in June, July and early August by around 10 a.m. Nothing left in two story Royals as far as I can see. Wow, that was painful!

I guess because I wasn't picky about the room and wasn't looking for the 2 story royal suite, this morning was super easy for me. Not painful at all. Mid-August, 5c stateroom. Got one on deck 7 (my preferred) on the edge of the bump out where we will have a slightly larger verandah.

3 night concierge sold out 09-16 sailing...grateful we snagged one but it was cut throat...within seconds it was down to the last 3-4 rooms

Super easy for me too. We were pretty much locked into B2B in early August and have a need for an accessible room. Obviously wanted the same room for both cruises and didn't even know where those rooms could be. Logged in around 8:10 am and saw I could get the same room for both cruises in exactly the location (Deck 8 mid ship) we would want to be.

Wow, sorry, I didnt have any issues this morning. Got online maybe 15 mins early and got a concierge for a 4 nighter in July no problem. The biggest rooms were not available, but I was never aiming for something on that level anyway. As long as everyone who wants a room on the ship can get one, I think it’ll all be ok. The ship will be around for years to come, but I understand the inaugural season only happens once.

Today is why I use a travel agent. I just logged into the website to see what was available and it didn't work in Chrome (just got the spinning wheel trying to pull up staterooms). Got it to work in Edge, but because we're two staterooms it wouldn't let me do anything. Said early bookings are limited to 1 stateroom. So, if I was serious I'd have to call. Not doing that.

So, if I change it to one stateroom it will let me look around, but obviously can't book only 1.

I had an e-mail by 8:30am letting me know our rooms were held from our TA. They are going faster than I expected though.

I am also happy to use a travel agent. I was wanting to look around for pricing, but had all sorts of login problems. Not searching for a popular room on a popular date (I think), so it'll be ok. Now I just wait for my quote

I was refreshing before I had to leave for school and was just about to check once I got signed in when my TA messaged me that Concierge was up to $6K at that point which was above my price range and that she had 8062 (5B on the front of the bump out!!) on hold for me. I was like "Confirm please!" and all done!!

I don't know if she was checking because I'd mentioned that it sometimes pops up early or if one of her colleagues called her, but I'm so glad she was!!

We are happy, our TA got us the room type that we wanted on the June 17 sailing. I'm excited to see if those verandahs on the bump out are as big as they look in the stateroom maps on deck 6!

If it makes you feel better, I dont believe the 2 story was available before Gold opened for the 1 August sailing.

Poor Silver isn't going to have anything....
it is going to be limited, that is for sure. If they continue this additional tier booking system................it makes the jump to Platinum a little more "valuable". Not only can you get a harder to get cruise, but the prices haven't started to spike before everyone else starts their bookings
