hi

we're going via eurostar in april, and as we are spending a few days in paris first we are booked on the 8.20am train to paris, so we dont panic etc we need to stay at a hotel the night before, ideally near the station and no more than £150 for the room. Has any one got any recommendations?

Hi there
We've always stayed at the Premier inn, Euston. Despite it's name it is slap bang between Euston Station and St Pancras. It's 5-10 mins walk and we've done it with 2 kids and 2 suitcases, no trouble. WE usually pay around £100 for the room. Hope this helps!

we are off in 81 days a woooohoooo!!!! Have managed to get a travel lodge for £12 the night before, walking distance, however the night we come back it is more like £78, i am holding out for a cheap flash travel lodge sale again, failing that we will get the sleeper all the way home to Cornwall!

Hope you get a good deal somewhere :thumbsup2

for our 2010 trip we stayed in the megaro hotel which is across the road from st pancras, in fact we could see the entrance to the station from our room window. The room was massive and really comfy, we paid around £100 for it and it was well worth it.
For our Nov 2011 trip we decided to try and do it on the cheap and booked a £30 room at kings cross travelodge. Never again!!!! absolutly awful hotel which gave me probably the worst nights sleep I have ever had.
We are planning on a new years trip this year and will most likely go for the megaro again.

We always stay at Novotel its a 2 minute walk to the station, the earlier you book the cheaper its £135 for breakfast for us when we book early. Premier inn was £170 + for breakast
