Hello Folks,

I'm heading off for a 2 Day/3 Night trip to DLP tomorrow afternoon with my girlfriend.

Plan is to do main park on day 1, Studio Park on Day 2 with a trip back to the main park if time permits. Was in the main park about 12 years ago and seem to recall it was easy enough to go on everything in one day, queues were probably a lot shorter back then:(

Ideally I'd like to go to the following:

Frontierland:
Big Thunder Mountain
Phantom Manor

Adventureland:
Indiana Jones
Pirates of the Caribbean

Discoveryland:
Star Tours
Space Mountain
Honey I shrunk the audience
Buzz Lightyear Laserblast (?)
Autopia(?)

Fantasyland:
Pan’s Flight(?)

Disney Studios:
Crush’s Coster(?)
Aerosmith roller-coaster
Moteurs Stunt Show(?)
Studio Tram Tour
Armageddon Special Effects(?)
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Is it realistic to fit all of these in in 2 days? The ones marked (?) are optional/not as important. We'll be there at 10am when the park opens and stay for most of the day. I might need to take a few rests as I have trouble with one of my feet and so can't walk all day without it hurting lots.

Also could someone advise what the best route or order to visit the rides in to minimise queuing?

Was thinking along the lines of:
1. Get Fastpass for BTM, Go to Phantom Manor while waiting for this.
2. Get Fastpass for Indiana Jones, go to POTC while waiting for this... and so on.

Are there some rides that will be busier all day that we should head for 1st in the morning? I know Space Mountain gets very busy but I am not sure if it's the 1st thing I want to go on in the morning after breakfast:)

Any advice (before about 3pm today) would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Robert

You don't say which hotel you are staying in, or what kind of pass you have to access the park, if you are staying in a Disney hotel then you will be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. This means you can enter the park at 8am on both mornings, as oppose to 10am, and get round some of the rides before the crowds show up! You can check the calendar, and see a list of the rides that will be open before 10am here

Being as it isn't a school holiday, and you are visiting on week days, I'd say you stand a pretty good chance of achieving your goals.

I'm sure others will be along with more tips, once the UK wakes up :thumbsup2

Perhaps add Lion King show to your itinerary in Discoveryland, chance for a break for your foot and possibly something to eat at the same time if you sit in the Cafe to watch.
In WDS you have a choice of shows, Cinemagique is well worth a visit, again an indoors show and an opportuntity for a rest whilst still taking making the most of your trip.

Hope all goes well. :thumbsup2

As it's midweek I'm sure you will manage to do everything on your list.

Make sure you take a few breaks to just sit back and soak up the atmosphere as sometimes that's the best part. :cloud9:

You don't want to rush around like mad and then it's all over in a flash. Hope you have a lovely time and good luck.

If you go an watch the Moteurs Action stunt show, that will also give you a chance to rest your foot as it last approx 30 minutes & it is very good:thumbsup2

Also if you have time go see Animagique as this will allow you ti sit & rest your foot too.

Have fun:goodvibes

As everyone else has said the parks should be quite quiet so as long as you are there first thing I would think you will get all of it done.

Use the fastpass as much as possible - there is a board at the top of Main Street which lets you know waiting times of the rides so a quick glance at that will let you know where to head.

If you want to ride Crush Coaster in WDS go there first thing as it does not has the fastpass facility and RNR and TOT does

Have a fantastic time :)

Thanks for all the replies guys.

We are are flying to Beauvais and renting a car and staying in a Campanile about 10km away, intending to be at the parks when they open at 10am. Have 2 day, 2 park hopper tickets, will be going on Thursday and Friday (flying over this evening).

Going to some shows seems a good idea alright.

Is this board with wait times on Main Street at the end where you come into the park or down near sleeping beauty's castle?

Any further tips would be appreciated.
