So I've never been to wdw in november before.
Will it be warm enough to wear flip flops and shorts?
and if it is, will I be the only one down there with like no tan whatsoever?
:rotfl:
go to the tanning bed before I go?
heehee.

In November, I say it just depends on the forecast and what you are used to.

We were there last week and it was warm enough for shorts and flip flops every day for me. At least that is what I wore. Maybe in the wee hours of the morning or late at night I wanted a sweatshirt, but I think that was only twice.

Just look at the forecast and see what you are used to. I am fine in shorts in 65 so I was good the whole time I was there.

Oh and as for being tan... I'd say most people there aren't overly tan. Of course most people I know are more aware of tans and skin cancer now, so no one I know really goes for dark tans now anyway

November is a funny month. we have gone 9 years for thanksgiving and most of the time it is nice during the day to go to the pool and water parks. some nites it was cool for a sweatshirt or light jacket. we have encountered a few times when it rained, but it never rains for the whole day, usually in the morning so we got a late start or later in the day and you can get some rest.
before you go, check the 10 day weather report on the computer for orlando and that my help. that is what i do.
otherwise, it is a great time. enjoy your trip.
i am counting down, 7 more days..... :cloud9:

I noticed you are in Charlotte. I'm in Charleston and it almost always works out that it is 10 degrees warmer in Orlando than here. You know the weather in the Southeast. It is the same in FL. It can be warm one day and cold the next. It is really hit and miss. Just figure it will be about 10-12 degrees warmer than in Charlotte.

As for the shorts, I'm going this month too and I don't plan on packing any. It has to be in the 90s for me to break out the shorts. I much prefer capris sitting on all those rides all day. Don't worry about a tan though! You'll have a better tan than all those Yankees that haven't seen sun in months! :rotfl:

We were there from 11/2 thru 11/7 and I wore shorts every day. In the mornings and evenings I always had my sweatshirt on. My kids did the pool twice - too cold for me. I think it was in the high 70s for our trip. Don't always believe the forecast. It showed some sort of rain for every day of our trip. It didn't rain on us once.

haha I love the Yankee joke! There are a lot of "Yankees" at my school who constantly make fun of the way I talk, and I'm like if you don't like it then go back up north! I don't make fun of their funny accent. :rotfl:
So thanks because that is a good mathematical equation to figure out about how warm it will be in FL. Yeah about 3 days ago it was so cold here, but today its really hot. Pretty much tee shirt and shorts weather.
Thanks for the help!

Hey, I'm one of the really pasty white yankees!!

(Sure, I could use a tanning salon, or spray-on tanning salon, but why? :sunny: ) I wear sun block every day of my life mostly because I am vain (and aging) and I have skirted wrinkles for years!! I'm the type that gets a nice shade of tan-red anyway so I have long given that up.

Last year we wore shorts for daytime, but needed layers for night time. One evening we even wished for gloves. We are going the week after Thanksgiving this year again, and plan on bringing the shorts and the jackets!

Good luck!

I am as pasty as the next guy, but, I wouldn't leave the long pants behind. We were there in November the last few years. The days are fine, the nights can be nippy.

I am in Savannah myself, and Lake Buena Vista is very much like Savannah climate wise. Day can be warm (mid 70s) , but, the nights get down in the 50s. If that is shorts weather for you....more power to you!:santa:
