Going to WDW - scared to death!

We're flying out this Sat, from NYC. I want Isabel to go away! Do you think we'll be forced to cancel? I have DVC hotel ressie, so I can't get money back or change last minute. Plus, spa ressie, Nascar driving for DH, dinner....everything I've been looking forward to for-ever!!! Plus we're meeting our best friends down there.

And, DH is flying down to NC tomorrow for 2 day business trip. He might get stuck there for a while. Gosh. Why this week, oh why??

Please, please please, whoever is in charge up there, please take Isabel away from us.

With the current storm track I don't think Orlando will be affected at ALL. You should be fine there.

NC is a different story, depends on where your DH flies, but that is in the storm path. The latest I heard was that it was late Thursday before the brunt of the storm hits so hopefully he will get out before then.

A friend of mine is getting married on Saturday. She forbids Isabel from showing up.

You'll be fine. If anything, maybe the effects of Isabel will just cool things down for you on your trip.

I agree with the others that from the sounds of things, you will be better off in Orlando than NYC.

I htink you will be okay. Here in MD they are saying that the weekend (sat & sun) are going to be beautiful. THe current track looks like it will hit further south and track west - right over my head on Fri a.m. We are far enough inland that we will only have wind and rain.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm alot calmer now. I felt guilty for getting PD. Our DISers in NC area need PD alot more than us.

adamak, we leave on Saturday, too. I refuse to worry about Isabel. Orlando is out of the woods by the looks of it and the only way it could interefere is our flight Saturday morning. I'll just play it by ear...I'm willing to adjust however I need to. As long as I get to WDW, I don't care 'bout nutin else!!!!
