This will be our first trip. And I am getting sooo nervous trying to get everything planned properly!! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Also please take a look at my ADR list and see what you think. I need one more restaurant, but I have no idea what to pick.:cutie:

Coral Reef
Kona Cafe
Liberty Tree Tavern
Le Cellier
Mama Melrose - Fantasmic
'Ohana
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue
Blue Zoo
Wolfgang Puck Cafe

Welcome to the DIS!

Mid-late May crowds are not bad...it's after Memorial Day that the crowds start to pick up. Memorial Day weekend will be a little more crowded than a "typical" weekend.

We went to WDW last year on Memorial Day weekend and we were so surprised.:goodvibes The crowds were not bad at all.:thumbsup2 Looks like you are going to have a wonderful time!:jumping1:

We'll be there part of that time, too! I've seen predictions of relatively light crowds during that time, which would be great!

For restaurants, are you looking for another character one? We love Chef Mickeys. I think we are going to make it a brunch-on-the-last-day tradition for our family :) Another restaurant that's really great if you like more adventurous food is Boma. It's at Animal Kingdom Lodge, so you can check out the animals before a reservation, too. There are so many great restaurants at WDW!

We were there the week before Memorial Day in 2004 and walked onto nearly every ride, some of the popular rides might have had a 10 minute wait, but between fast passes and in general, low crowds, it was a fabulous time to visit. It was still hot, but not as bad as the summer months and it didn't rain the entire time we were there. Another huge plus in our book is that the Flower & Garden Festival is going on at Epcot and the whole park looks so beautiful. We'll be there the 19-26th! Here's hoping for low crowds and great weather for both our families!

We like the San Angel Inn in Mexico, World Showcase. It is so beautiful. Some people don't like the food there though. We also love Beaches and Cream at the Yacht Club. Great burgers and desserts.

My family will also be at Disney May 24th-28th. I was told that this was the best time to go as well. My boss(who goes quite frequently) said to hop in the car the day the kids get out of school(may 24th) and head on out. We're keeping them home from school that last day just so we can leave a day early! I too am planning every small detail out so that my girls don't miss anything. This will be our first family vacation (my husband and I have been married for 7 years), our never had honeymoon and the first visit for my 13 and 10 year old daughters. My 7 year old went a few years ago with her grandparents but didn't have a very good time from what her aunt told me. I'm glad to hear that it may not be as crowded as some of us think. My husband HATES to wait in line for anything so this will really make our vacation a happy one!

We've been the week before Memorial Day, as well, and it really didn't get crowded until the Saturday before.
