In your opinion, what is the best time to go to WDW in summer? We cannot go in June due to some prior commitments and family stuff, but July and August are free as far as I can tell at this point. :woohoo:

We've been to WDW only in July, but it's always very crowded and sticky at that time. What about going in August? How are the crowds then, and is it warmer or cooler than in July? :confused3

If anybody has any input they'd like to share, I'd love to hear it. :thumbsup2

Thanks!
~Simon :)

I think the beginning of August is hotter than July - but not by much (but I'm sure someone will have official figures).

In terms of crowds - the entire summer is normally very crowded. Just take your time, take breaks, and crowds should be manageable.

The later you can go in August the lighter the crowds will be as kids start to go back to school. We went very late August into September, and the crowds were very manageable. However, it was still very, very hot and humid. Disney has started offering Free Dining in late August to get more people into the parks - so the decrease in crowds may not be quite as much.

Thanks so much for the input everyone!

I think we'll try to plan our trip for sometime in August. :)
