Going to WDW at Christmas and don't know what I am gonna do about Airfare!

I have been checking all airlines, both out of Pearson and Buffalo for months now. Flying out on Dec 26th and coming back Jan 01. Cannot get 2 adult return flights for less that $1800 to $2000. I can't imagine paying that price. It kills me how if we went from the 11th to the 19th of December I would pay half that....its criminal!

Any suggestions?

Have you checked the 25th? It's usually cheaper.

I noticed prices drop about Jan 2. Any way to shift your dates. School goes back the 8th I think.

Unfortunately, if that's when you want to travel, there is no other option. We go at March break and the flights are double if we fly from Canada, so we started flying out of Detroit. At Christmas, the prices are outrageous regardless of whether you fly out of Canada or the US.

I considered a Christmas week cruise, but the flight prices made me drop that idea. And that's coming from Texas...Prices are absolutely insane at that time.

I use a WestJet MC that gives me a companion flight for 99.00$ and taxes. So around 250.00 for a return flight to MCO. No blackouts. Might take a month to have it appear on your account so that might not give you enough time! Hope you can find some cheaper flights.
