Going to the world during Columbus Day this october, anyone been this time frame ?

We are going to the world October 10-17th and wondering how busy it usually is this time of year and also with it being that holiday and kids having off that Monday wondering if crowds will be busier that weekend? We've been plenty different times including week after thanksgiving and noticed it was a little more crowded till a few days after holiday till beginning of week.
Any info would be great!

We went at this time last year. We thought the crowds were moderate and manageable. Both MNSSHP were sold out but still not crowded. Epcot on Friday night of the Food & Wine Festival was insane! I'll never do that again!!

Yeah we def plan on staying away from Epcot on the weekend, lol

We have been around this time every year for the past 3-4 years. It is a great time to visit because of F&W, the rooms are usually a bit cheaper (than summer/holidays) and the weather is awesome. We do notice EPCOT is a bit crowded on the weekend, but the other parks are wonderful...just plan your EPCOT days accordingly. Have a great trip!

We went last year at this time, and were told the crowds would be ridiculous. We found them to be pretty good though, a little busier than may/june. Epcot on the weekend evenings was bananas during food and wine, but otherwise it was a terrific trip.

We are also going at that time this year. Should be fun! Crowd levels are 5-7, which is the same as when we went in December which isn't very crowded. Just try to schedule the recommended parks.

Thanks everyone! I just wasn't sure with kids having off school Monday if it would be busier, that's why we picked this week so dd would only miss 4 days school versus 5..
