going to Orland from grande prairie, which airline is best?

I am wanting to go to Orlando( disney world) in august for a convention but the only flights that seem to fly out of Grande Prairie are west jet and air canada. West jet seems to be all lay overs except a few days( not sure what august is like) so has anyone flown from Grande Prairie to Orlando? and what flight did you choose and airline? thanks for all your help.
I know that there is a flight from Edmonton but it leaves at 12:50 am so it is flying during the night, is this a good option?

We took WJ redeye from Calgary via TO to Orlando. The kids slept, we got a few hours in as well. It was nice to get to Orlando in the morning. By the time we got to our hotel we were ready for a nap but still made it to one of the parks. I guess it depends on your kids' sleeping habits and tolerance.

It would be just me no kids lol, as i will be in business conferences etc, for 2 and a half days. I will be adding a day though maybe 2 so i can go to the parks lol

For price we usually find West Jet or Air Canada the best deals from GP ,but I think next time we will drive to Seattle and fly from there what a price difference

I really wanted to fly on a direct WestJet flight from Calgary but for the price difference we are flying continential with a transfer in the US (did not want to transfer in Canada and collect bags etc. with the kids during a lay over).

I have flown the red eye alot to the US and love it......planes not full, can dooze and dont waste a day....
