Going to Hollywood, California in 5 days....any tips?

I just want to add if you are driving be prepared for A LOT of sudden braking on the freeways and gridlock. It will go from full speed to a stop without a lot of warning so make sure you are paying attention and leave tons of time if you are driving anywhere. I can handle the speed but the random slamming of the breaks really bugs me lol...I always get our breaks done before we go
