Please give any advice or hints you feel are worth writing down. On Saturdays do they have the fireworks and all that stuff. We will be there in April. Best place to eat on property. Which character meal---breakfast or lunch or dinner. What each offers and why you like that one. Sorry about all the questions. What about the Downtown Disney area and the restaurants there. which one would you recommend?:bounce: :pinkbounc :bounce: :pinkbounc Just bouncing with excitement. Thanks again PattyN

Patty, welcome to our board. We have had many recent discussion on all of those topics... just scroll down the page and you will find lots of good information. You might want to take a look at the tips in Mary Jo's threads at the top of the page as well.

This thread might be a good place to start...

I see you are from Longview, WA... That is funny as I lived there and went to all my school years there..(grad. of RA Long '86).. Anyways..

We really enjoyed the breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen but also the character breakfast at Plaza Inn at the Park (the only place, other than parades, that you see Piglet). I hear that lunch is usually the same as dinner just cheaper so keep that in mind..

Downtown Disney was great we ate at the Rainforest Cafe.. That place is amazing inside. Every once in awhile they have a thunder storm roll thru the place while you eat.. Grab a cone at Haagen Dauze(know I spelt that completely wrong) and people watch or get some fudge at the candy store.. I hear they also now have a Build A Bear that we will be doing when we come in late April

California Adv was great.. Definately do Soarin' Over California and even if you don't like roller coasters you should try California Screamin'.... I don't like rollers coaster but made myself go on this one and then went on it 3 more times during our stay.. Will definately be doing that again this trip.

And just remember to relax and have fun.. Wow that was a mouth full :D

Get a parkhopper pass so you can go between the parks, love the food in DCA much better. The broccoli and cheese soup in the sourdough breadbowl is one of my highlights, but the chicken salad in the breadbowls also up there. I don't know the hours of when you are going, but we went to DL first and we went back to DCA a half hour after they opened. It allowed us to see some attractions at DL first and then shorter lines at DCA. Also DCA is usually less busy than DL so go to DL on the least busy day (weekday) and DCA on a busier day (weekend).

Don't miss Blast! at Hyperion Theatre at the Calif. Adv. Kid's will love it too! Think of it as the coolest marching band on stage. You can get free tickets from cast members at a number of places right inside the park.
