Going to Disneyland the 27th...what do I need to get there?

I'm definately doing the quest..duh! But what else do I need to get?
Do code cards cost money?

Depends @_@ I know you have to purchase a magic trick in the main street shop for the magic mirror.
You have to purchase candy in poohs corner to get the red penny press (if they still have it).
And I'm pretty sure you have to buy a spalsh mountain picture for the wanted poster.

The quests are free, and the print out quests are of course free.

well, of course, you could always pick up an extra Halloween pumpkin for an east coaster....

There is a thread on here about "So you're going to WDW or Disneyland" or something like that. The Player's Guide (sticky at top of threads) summarizes all the VMK related things to do. It also has all the quest answers for the in park quests, and tells you how to print out the ones you can pre-print.

I did all of this before my 12-hour stint in Disneyland before I had to head off to China Lake. It's also helpful to go to disney.com/destinations and print out a park map so you can figure out a strategy of what to do while you are there, and to incorporate you VMK jaunts with them.

Coasterguy is a DLR vetern, as is LadyBoadceia (I always spell that wrong, but you know who I mean), and they will be very very helpful if you ask them real nice like!

Just don't get on It's a Small World with them. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

You can get 1 pumpkin for each ticket that you have. The cast members are very strict with this on this quest.

Those I have marked with an * are quests that you need to print and bring with you. The others you pick up at VMK Central.

oh...you meant VMK quest stuff. I was going to say things like: airplane tickets, park tickets, a hotel to stay in, transportation.....

if I read the backs of my cards correctly:
buying a hat = gold ears (apparently not in certain shops)
buying candy = green penny press

I know what you mean..but try an hour @_@...oh the horror.


p.s. I think the matterhorn and autopia will still be closed for refurbishment while your their it'll be closed all while we are their the 21st-25th.

If the kiosk for VMK Central outside happens to be closed while you're there and it tells you to go in Innoventions, it's on the first floor. Keep looking in the little areas in the circular center part. There are a lot of different games, and a couple of areas have VMK. But if you go into one of them and look to the left by the wall (while facing out), they'll have a little stand for it where you can get and turn in the quests. A CM should be able to help you find it, but you never know.

The thing I found in the Magic Shop that I liked (and was cheap) was a package of dice with Mickey heads instead of the dots. You get six dice, and I think it was only $4.
