going to disney land (california) very soon...i gotta few questions

i will be getting a 3 day pass



-i will be going november 21st thru the 23rd. is it typically very busy during that time? i really dont want to have to wait in long lines


-i will be getting my tickets probably off the disneyland website or possibly using getawaytoday.com..does getawaytoday.com actually save you a good amount of money, or just basically give you the online discount? i am getting a 3 day pass


-i want a hotel in walking distance...any suggestions? i don't mind paying up to 115 or so a night for a nice hotel...but also don't mind staying at cheap one either.


-anything else i should know? any good deals? nice/cheap places to eat? anything?

I go to DL all the time and sometimes get a hotel room so I don't drive home after enjoying some wine.


Stay at Hojo's!!!!! They have great deals. Do you have an entertainment card?


I hate to tell you, but it will be busy. It will be very pretty, though, so still go as you will enjoy it.

I never have to buy tickets, so I'll let someone else with that knowledge chime in for you.


Mimi's is on the way to DL. If there are more in your party, you can split meals there because they are huge. And DcDonald's is on the way to DL walking.

I'm a plus-sized gal and I can make it to the DL gates in SEVEN minutes from the Hojo's front door.

Your dates span a weekend and it's near Thanksgiving. As previously stated, it will be busy.

I have to third that busy thing...VERY busy! It is super close to thanksgiving! People are out on holiday! But it will still be quite fun, just go with the expectation of it being packed and you will be fine!

I like the Best Western Park Place Inn or the Carousel Inn because they are right across from the cross walk! But any hotel along that street will do fine!

Also you will get a discount from getawaytoday before the beginning of next year because DL is offering a deal themselves for the first few months of the new year.
